The idea

Pale Harbor wanted a video that feels like walking home after the last train. We scouted for three weeks, picked one long stretch of road, and shot it from dusk until the first delivery trucks arrived.

The crew stayed small and the lighting stayed practical. Street signs, shop windows and a single rented generator did most of the work.

The result

A four minute film built from nine long takes. The grade pushes the neon toward warm and leaves the shadows alone.
